Lake District
This centre once was a pretty little farm – there’s no animals left anymore, just a bunch of kids having a fantastic time! All the classrooms and centre buildings have been lovingly converted form the original farm buildings so it’s really quaint with loads of rural charm, but hidden inside those rustic stone walls are all the usual Kingswood state-of-the-art ICT labs & Environmental classrooms. Fields of adventure activities abound like Fencing, Climbing and Archery.
The Centre sits perfectly between the beautiful Lake District one way and the city of Carlisle the other. Carlisle is a fab city with loads of history, over 2000 years of it!! Complete with castle & cathedral, there’s loads of things to see and do and some cracking bars and pubs for partying. Hadrian’s Wall is just up the road and being the “border city” you could always pop over to Scotland for some sightseeing on a weekend off.
