Set in the picturesque Vale of Clywd, North Wales is one of our more cosy centres which is great as there’s only a few great schools here at once, so you get to know all the kids really quickly. A magnificent Gothic building, it has a certain look of Oxford or Cambridge about it, thought the kids prefer to nickname it Hogwarts! There’s even a grand Harry Potter-esque dining hall – just make sure you don’t get a “screamer” letter from your mum while you’re here!
“Whatever the weather” activities revolve around the huge sports hall and there’s also loads of fantastic outdoor adventure activities to get your teeth into too. The shadow of Castell Dinbych (Castle Denbigh) looms nearby, featured in our specialised North Wales activity, Castle Clamber. To hang out during your downtime, the seaside towns of Rhyl and Llangollen are just down the road, or you could venture out to Snowdonia National Park.
