Peak Venture
One of the newest boys on the Kingswood block, Peak Venture is perfectly located huddled next to the beautiful Peak District. Smack bang in the middle of loads of hills, heather-covered bumps and general greenery, Peaks could be your dream Centre.
It’s not one of the big boys like West Runton or Isle of Wight, but can still play in their league with it’s boastful amount of brand spanking new adventure activities. From the top of the new High Ropes course kids can see all over the surrounding valleys, spy on the new Mountain Bike Track and Quad Bike Track, a new Climbing Wall and loads, loads more. Recent additions also stretch to fully refurbished buildings, dorms and newly-kitted-out ICT labs and Environmental Field Studies classrooms. This is “Last of The Summer Wine” country, so there’s loads of picturesque spots to visit, with the village of Penistone close by, the Peak District up the road and the bright lights of Sheffield, Barnsley, Manchester & Leeds all beckoning.
