Kingswood & I
I joined Kingwood in January 2005 after working spending some time in the States and working as an Account Executive for a Computer company. I was based in Denbigh for a while, then moved to the Isle of Wight where I flourished, I was one of the finalists for Employee of the Year in I.O.W. I then moved to the Peak District to help with development of the new centre and to grow as a person within the "Kings World". I then later moved to "Paradise Ogmore", as it is known as a holiday spot to many, where I have continued to learn and gain valuable experience with the partnership with Ogmore Centre.
Favourite activity
Fencing, but in fairness, all activities as I take pride in all sessions I take part in with the groups.
Worst bit about Kingswood
When you have settled in and made new friends and then having to move. "Head office today, Making friends with lovely directors, Managers and then Back to Centre (Ogmore) tomorrow!"
Best bit about Kingswood
Best way to gain valuable experience and making a different to kids' lives as a role model.
The next step?
Working hard and learning to be a Customer Service Manager or staying here in recruitment to recruit the best people for the job.
My advice to anyone who is thinking of joining
My advice to anyone who is thinking of joining Why have you not yet joined?! You have to experience Kingwood life yourself, don't just go on what you have heard. Think about what impact you can have to a kid's life. Today cheering a kid on Go-Karts, tomorrow they're a Formula one Driver.
